In a lot of places it is totally acceptable to wear thong swimsuits (Brazil, Miami, etc) but I couldn't imagine wearing them.
go for it... you'll get a good amount of sand in your crack, but that happens any which way

i have worn one a few times. it depends on who i am going with and where i am going. Somewhere like south beach miami with my friends, hell yeah. tons of people wear them there
Ive never done it and I hope you dont either. Noone likes it when people do that.
